My Bio
I love art and cosplay. Last year I cosplayed as Empress Marianne with my daughter :icondarthmario-naruto: who cosplayed as Lelouch.

It's been a long time since I did any art. When I first went to uni (U of T), I majored in studio art for one year. I started worrying if I would be able to get a job, so I switched majors and ended up with and M.A in something and an M.B.A. which means not doing anything fun or creative for ages D: It's good to draw again. =.=

I'm seriously considering giving up traditional art and going for digital/gaming/fanart instead. I just saw a job opening in Time Warner Productions for a Technical Artist. I want. But I can't. I don't know how. To be paid to draw! Wouldn't it be wonderful? If I go that route I'd probably have to go back to school to learn graphic art and computer animation etc...or is it possible to get the skills necessary through google tutorials? But then I think of my last drawing...Lillyxandra. I really enjoyed doing it. Nobody will buy it. Well, the truth is, I wouldn't sell it because it is a part of me...well maybe for a $1,000,0000 lol.

Staples people told me that scanning is like taking a flash photo. It results in lost color and detail. Okay, so maybe taking a photograph in natural light is better. I took multiple pictures with my little canon camera, and tried really hard not to let my hands shake too much. The photos looked bleached, so I used picture manager to try and make it look more like the original. But it's just no good. What do other people do? Scan? Photo? Is there some other way?
